Voting is now officially open for the Steve Strange Award 2026, celebrating the most creative and impactful artists to perform at this year’s Great Escape.
Chosen by TGE delegates, the award recognises an artist who has stood out across the festival through their originality, vision and creative approach — both on and off the stage. From unforgettable live performances to boundary-pushing artistry, this is your chance to champion the act that defined your Great Escape experience.
Named in memory of the late Steve Strange, a hugely respected live agent and passionate supporter of emerging talent, the award continues his legacy of spotlighting the next generation of artists shaping the future of music. Previous winners include Zetra (pictured), Aggrassoppar, Audio Books and more, reflecting the diverse and forward-thinking talent that The Great Escape champions each year.
The winner of this prestigious award will receive a £5,000 cash prize, with the result announced following The Great Escape Festival.
Who Can Vote?
Voting is open to industry delegates with a valid TGE 2026 delegate pass. All votes will be verified using the email address linked to delegate pass registration.
